Gameplay
Fruit Merge (also known as Suika Game or Watermelon Game) is a puzzle game where you drop fruits into a container. When two identical fruits touch, they merge into a larger fruit. The goal is to keep merging fruits until you create a watermelon - the largest and most valuable fruit in the game.
On Desktop: Move your mouse left and right to position the fruit, then click to drop it.
On Mobile: Tap and drag to position the fruit, then release to drop it.
Fruits evolve in this order from smallest to largest:
Cherry → Strawberry → Grape → Dekopon → Orange → Apple → Pear → Peach → Pineapple → Melon → Watermelon
For a detailed visual guide, check our Fruit Evolution Guide.
The game ends when fruits stack up and cross the danger line at the top of the container. Once any fruit passes this line, it's game over and your final score is recorded.
The largest fruit you can manually drop is an Orange (the 5th fruit in the evolution chain). All larger fruits - Apple, Pear, Peach, Pineapple, Melon, and Watermelon - can only be created by merging smaller fruits.
Scoring
You earn points every time two fruits merge. The larger the resulting fruit, the more points you get. Creating chain reactions (where one merge triggers another) can significantly boost your score.
Score benchmarks:
- Beginner: Under 1,000 points
- Intermediate: 1,000 - 2,000 points
- Advanced: 2,000 - 3,000 points
- Expert: 3,000+ points
- Master: 5,000+ points
Check our High Score Guide for tips on achieving higher scores.
Creating a watermelon awards a large number of points. If two watermelons touch, they disappear from the board, freeing up valuable space and giving you even more points. This is the ultimate achievement in the game!
